This is an English translated version of IcelandGuide.net which is originally targeted for Japanese audiences.

Just to give you a brief history, I have started writing a blog back in 2004 as one of Excite Japan’s official blog called ICELANDia which is still here. This is THE ONLY and firsthand source about Iceland in the Japanese language. 

Entries accumulated over the years and it is hard to search articles of interests. Since it is an Excite blog, there is not much I can do about it. I decided to create my own space where I have more freedom to organize and manage,  thus this website. Some entries are announcements that mattered only temporarily. Others contain very informative and solid info you can find anywhere else.

There are over 1,500 entries written for ICELANDia blog. I have moved about 100 entries here so far. It will take a long time to translate the entire website or maybe impossible to do so. If you are interested, check the Japanese version.  Probably Google translate could help you.

I will try and cover places in Iceland where not too many people are exploring. I hope you will find it interesting 🙂
