My main field of work is music, entertainment, art, and culture.
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Working in the music industry since high school days. I have been a freelance handling various tasks in the industry. I also had created my own music label dedicated to Icelandic music based on experience working for different record companies on various tasks since the 80’s such as Universal Music, Sony Music Entertainment, BMG, etc.
It was 2003 I visited Iceland first time. I fell in love with this country, especially Reykjavik’s vibrant music scene. I quickly became a regular visitor and got to know the main players in the industry.
Organizing tours from Japan to participate in Iceland Airwaves, Iceland’s biggest popular music festival taking place annually since 2006, I also like a migrant bird who visits Iceland at the same time every year.

Finally, I moved to Iceland in 2017. Since then I am living in the hear of Reykjavik. Upon my arrival, Iceland Music Export quickly recognized my contribution to the music industry here, I was honored with a title, Ambassador of Icelandic Music (copy of certificate).
I have been coordinating artist collaboration, recording session, from booking a full orchestra recording to auditioning a 7 old girl for a movie soundtrack, for various artists and projects. Also since my move to Iceland, my traveling experience all over Iceland has been very handy to work as a location coordinator for film and photography shootings. I found this job very much satisfying as I love Icelandic nature as much as I love music.
Although I do not name names, I have worked with huge names in the Japanese entertainment world. I have been working exclusively for Japanese and until now!
COVID changed my surroundings and I feel I should open and explore more possibilities.
